The Lion Inn Cottage was originally an Elizabethan stone pig cot. Left derelict for decades, the current owners embarked on an ambitious nine month restoration project, which reached completion in Spring 2003. |

The luxurious marble tiled bathroom contains a spacious shower unit. The fully equipped compact kitchen has been made to measure and boasts a traditional Belfast sink, double hob, microwave and refrigerator. Central heating (supplied by new slim-line storage heaters) and a carpeted floor ensure the cottage is cosy all year round. The cottage backs onto open fields and a gently flowing stream. A walled and trellised patio ensures privacy and is a sun trap during warmer weather. A welcome pack is available and packed lunches can be provided at a small cost, if requested. |

Self Catering |
|
The cottage was built with light and space in mind, and as thus is most suited for use by a couple, especially when staying longer that a night or two. However, well behaved children are still most welcome. When staying with us on a self catering basis, you will need to supply your own bedding and towels. We can however supply these for a small charge. If you require any laundry to be done, we would happily put a load through our machine, just ask ! |
